Recently, The ESL School at New York Film Academy (NYFA) – Los Angeles took a trip to The Getty Center in the Brentwood Neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. The Getty Center is one of the most famous art centers in the greater Los Angeles area. The center sits on the top of a hill in the Santa Monica Mountains, overlooking a breathtaking view of the city and coastline. This is just one of the reasons tourists flock to this well-known attraction.

Thanksgiving is a holiday that celebrates family and gratitude. For the Fall quarter, Level 5 ESN-NYC wanted to see what people are grateful for by going to one of the city’s largest transportation hubs – the World Trade Center Oculus.

ESN-LA Thanksgiving Short Film Fest
Each quarter, The ESL School at NYFA has students showcase their cinematic talents by having a short film festival. As Thanksgiving is during November, this was the perfect opportunity to have a potluck with traditional food and create short films based on thankfulness.
